Program Overview

The Interview Advantage transforms the way clients prepare and present themselves in job interviews. We offer a curated 6-week program that transforms the preparation and execution of interviewing. The program is designed to build lasting skills that reshape our client’s comparative advantage against their peers.

  • The 6-week journey starts with a client discovery assessment as we seek to understand you. This includes your academic pursuits, work & volunteer experience, hobbies, and interests. We conduct a baseline interview of your current interview skills which serves as a catalyst for specific coaching exercises.

  • Over the course of 15 sessions, we move into motivations including building your “why” statement, building/documenting resiliency stories that demonstrate examples of how you’ve overcome obstacles.

  • Accomplishment stories follow suit as we work on building out examples/artifacts that you can easily talk about and share with employers.

  • Together, we review baseline interview observations and then work on interview techniques that will demonstrably impact how you are perceived on a Zoom or in-person.

  • We then work through research skills that will have lasting impact on your career search and the knowledge you bring to the table.

  • As we near the conclusion of the program, we have 3 live-fire practice interviews that prepare and test your growth, areas we need to adjust and retest knowledge.

  • The final interview sessions will reflect the fact based and behavioral based interview questions we’ve covered and some questions we haven’t yet covered. This is an opportunity for the client to have a game-on frame of mind and demonstrate being audible ready!

Client Artifacts & Assets

The Interview Advantage program incorporates building the following assets as part of a client’s portfolio. At the end of the program, the client will leave with a clear understanding of how to build and utilize these assets and the skills necessary to do so iteratively as part of their job search.

Introductory Letters

Every application you submit will include a cover letter that explicitly calls out the reason why you are applying, the good you can deliver to the company mission, and reflect the company’s mission. The context should be about how you can provide value to the company’s objectives including revenue, customer satisfaction and efficiency.

Resumes

Your resume will offer a clear summary of career goals as a statement, your education, work/intern experience, and projects completed and skills developed that are relevant to each opportunity you pursue.

Biography

We will create a biography of you that will help define how you have evolved academically, socially, and in your work experience.

Accomplishment Stories

We will craft two Accomplishment Stories that will uniquely define you and differentiate your application submission. These are designed to ignite interest and for the client to weave into the interview process.
